With less than 24 hours left for the release of ‘Kanden Kadhalai’, a remake of Hindi hit ‘Jab We Met’, director of the film Kannan has revealed some undisclosed details.

“’Kanden Kadhalai’ is not an exact copy of ‘Jab We Met’. We have diluted many a scene to suit to the taste of Tamil audience. The Hindi version is almost a multiplex film. But the Tamil remake is for all sections of the audience,” he says.

“A grandfather character, which was shown as a patient in ‘Jab We Met’, has been changed as an active senior citizen in ‘Kanden Kadhalai’. Veteran actor Ravichandran has done a wonderful job,” Kannan adds.

Claiming that the acquisition of the movie’s rights by Sun Pictures as a major strength, Kannan says he is thankful to the producers- Dhananjayan of Moser Baer and Blue Ocean Entertainment. “I am equally thankful to each and every member of the crew,” he says.
