Actress Trisha, who is all set to play heroine in a Hindi film, to be produced and acted by Akshay Kumar, says she was never looking at Hindi films seriously. Nor did she think she had to make it big in Hindi. “I will do a film in any language, as long as I like the role I get. It doesn’t matter if it is Hindi or Telugu or Tamil,” said the actress, who is currently in Madurai shooting for Vetrimaaran’s ‘Aadukalam’. She is paired with Dhanush for this film.

Trisha, who has acted alongside most of Tamil cinema’s leading heroes, including Vijay and Ajith, is all set to be launched in Hindi by a film to be directed by Priyadarshan. It, interestingly, was Priyadarshan who launched her as heroine in Tamil as well, with ‘Leysa Leysa’. “I am glad that I am being taken to Hindi films by the director who gave me a career in Tamil as well. My role in the Hindi film is a mix of both performance and glamour. There’s scope for me to actually act in the film,” says the actress.
