With one Hindi film with Nana Patekar recently the Tamil superstar Arjun (Arjun Sarja in Kannada son of veteran respected actor Shakthi Prasad) is moving to Hindi cinema on a husband and wife relationship subject in the coming few months. Arjun was speaking at the ‘Amrutha Mathu Manthala’ of cinema journalists at Press Club of Bangalore on Saturday evening as a guest.

‘I am producing and directing besides performing in the lead role of untitled Hindi film’ said Arjun who is learning Hindi language to bring in suitability for the role. Initially I thought of making it in Tamil and Hindi but the cultural difference would be wide. So I have up Tamil and catching up with Hindi to reach the international arena too.

One ‘Sevakan’ long ago given me courage and educated me to do planning the most essential thing in the cinema industry. Just with one crore of rupees I can do a cinema and also with Rs.20 crores of rupees. Like how my lord Hanuman statue is chiseled near Doddaballapur (at Koira village) to reach my farm at Porur I have been chiseled in my profession. I believe such super natural power only gave me the extra driving force to complete my debut production and direction ‘Sevakan’.

On the completed lord Hanuman statue of 23 feet, 17 feet width and 160 tons Arjun said it is traveling to Chennai with special care and it will be placed at my farm house in Porur where one acre of land is kept for this temple of Hanuman. This is dedicated to my father and in his absence today I am doing whatever he was supposed to do said Arjun remembering his fond father Mr. Shakthi Prasad the very big name in Kannada filmdom.

For a question what he would do his role in ‘Mudhalavan’ turns real he said he would make a law to get free health treatment and education for the people of this country. On the expected question of his position when the Cauvery and Hogennakkal issues Arjun frankly said these issues should be handled properly by the politicians and artists should not be dragged in to it.

The news for Arjun fans in Kannada cinema is that he has accepted ‘Hoysala’ film for Ramu banner and his nephew Chiranjeevi film ‘Vaayuputra’ in Kannada is releasing next month. Arjun is the producer of ‘Vaayuputra’ Kannada film and his brother Kishroe Sarja is the director. Beautiful looking Andrita Ray is the heroine of ‘Vaayuputra’.
