Two remake films and one straight subject films are going to contest in the box office battle on coming Friday. The prominent among all the three is lovely star Premkumar starring ‘Ghautham’ that has the story, screenplay of famous Telugu and Tamil films director Suresh Krishna. K Rajiv Prasad grandson of veteran cameraman RNK Prasad is making debut as director for this Synergy Images first venture in Kannada.

Kokila Mohan the yesteryears famous Tamil star Mohan is making a come back to Kannada in this film ‘Ghautham’. Sara Alambara is the heroine. Kausalya, Ananthnag, Vinayaprasad, Ramesh Bhat and others are in the cast. Gurukiran has scored the music for the film.

‘Jaajie Mallige’ is a remake of Devathaiyai Kanden with the current popular star Ajay of ‘Taj Mahal’ super hit film. Gowri Munjal plays the heroine in this film directed by Anantharaju. Dr. Jayamala comes back to acting after a long gap. Komal, Bullet Prakash and others are in the comedy department of this film.

The third film to hit the screen this week is ‘Nishedhagne’. The film is based on real life incidents happened after the assassination of former PM Smt. Indira Gandhi in 1984. Padmanabha is the debutant director of this action thriller Bharat Babu Productions.

Abdul Azeem the real life cop who is Member of Legislative Council is playing the cop on screen for the first time. Adhi Lokesh plays double role, Priyanka Chandra, Bharat Babu, Shanker Ashwath, Ninasam Ashwath, Padmaja Rao, Suresh Mangalore, Sneha Jagadish are in the lead of this film. S.V. Narayanaswamy and Suryakanth Jadav are the producers.
