It is gala time for Kerala Kutty Meera Jasmine. She has received the National award quite a number of times, for the Best Actress in the past and is one of the talented heroines in the South Indian film industry.

The Mollywood beauty is a favorite among Tollywood and Kollywood. She debuted to Telugu cinema with ‘Ammayi Bagundhi’ and followed with many hits like AM Ratnam’s ‘Run’, ‘Maharathi’ (Balakrishna), ‘Gudumba Shankar’ (Pawan Kalyan) and ‘Bhadra’ (Ravi Teja). She has shared screen space with the tops stars of Tollywood and her latest includes Jagapathy Babu’s ‘Bangaru Babu’, Sreekanth’s ‘A,Aa, E, Ea’ and Allari Naresh’s ‘Aakasa Ramanna’.

She has won the prestigious ‘Kalaima Mani’ award presented every year by the state government of Tamilnadu similar to the Nandi Award.
