'Nandhanam' was a popular film in Malayalam which went on to become a big hit. Directed by Renjith, the film featured Prithviraj, Aravindh Akash and Navya Nair. This film is all set to be remade in Tamil now.

The Tamil version to be produced by Goodnight Mohan, will feature Dhanush in the role enacted by Aravindh Akash. Search is on for the rest of the cast. Subramaniam Siva would be the director of this remake. The director is now busy wielding the megaphone for Ameer's maiden venture as hero 'Yogi'.

Also both Subramaniam Siva and Dhanush share a good rapport as they had worked together in 'Thiruda Thirudi'.
