In another sort of a casting coup, the best of the actors of the country and three time national award winners, Kamal Hassan and Mammootty is expected to come together for a movie.

Kamal Hassan has already started meticulous efforts to buy the rights of the Hindi movie 'A Wednesday', a recent offbeat hit, to remake it in Tamil and Malayalam.

Kamal has also made plans to bring in Mammootty to do the role of a Police officer that Anupam kher did in the original. Kamal will act in the role of Naseerudeen shah, if all go as per plans.

Rumors are that Mammootty has already expressed his consent to enact the role, which will be of great interest for the fans of these great actors.
