A 17 hour Bhagavan

Mohanlal, young director Prashanth Mambully, cameraman Lokanathan and his crew has entered history by completing a commercial movie within a span of 17 hours. Their movie titled 'Bhagavan' which was shot lat week at Guruvayooor just took 17 hours to shoot 64 scenes.

The shoot of the movie planned with five separate units at five locales near and in the Allied hospital have Superstar Mohanlal playing a Gynaecologist Dr Balagopal. He acted non stop the whole day easing through the 58 scenes of the movie.

The movie will feature three songs including a title song which was also shot on the day. Seven cameras, Jimmy jib, and many cranes were used for the shoot. The movie which started canning its first shot as early as 7 am called the final pack up at 12 in the midnight.

Prashanth Mambully was assisted in this effort by four associate directors and seven assistants while the camera section had another 18 assistants. The makers are planning to present ‘Bhagavan' produced in the banner of Anaswara Films, in theatres by the republic day of 2009.
