Many film goers will still remember 'Crimefile'- one of the super hits from Suresh Gopi, which had a plot based on the real life case of Sister Abhaya. The investigative thriller which was scripted by A K Sajan and directed by hit maker K Madhu, was a rage of the times particularly because of the powerful content and suspense values.

Now after around a decade, when Abhaya Case is still hogging the headlines with fresh findings from the C B I team, A K Sajan and K Madhu have announced a sequel to the original in the title 'Convent'. The makers are planning to include the newly found facts in the case diary and also those that they never tried to tell in the first part. The cast and crew of the movie are being finalized.

Meanwhile the warring director in MACTA, Vinayan has also announced another movie 'Pious Tenth Garden’, which is also rumored to be based on Abhaya murder case.
