The Indian cricket opening fast bowler Srishanth opened his innings in a Kannada cinema function. He graced the audio release of producer Maharshi and Madi Reddy Param's maiden venture in Kannada 'Jolly Days' on Friday evening at Gold Finch Hotel. Srishanth also known as a good dancer from television serial 'Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena' in Colors channel sat with power star of Kannada cinema Puneeth Rajakumar for more than half an hour and released the audio of 'Jolly Days'.
In one line Kannada Srishanth addressed the mammoth attendance that cheered when he said 'Neev Ella Cannagiddira' (Are you all fine). Srishanth who did schooling in Bangalore was able to remember Kannada. He had already heard the music of 'Jolly Days' and said it is brilliant. Sharing the dais with Puneeth Rajakumar is very nice said Srishanth and he did not forget to wish all the best to the newcomers of the film 'Jolly Days'.
Puneeth Rajakumar the top star of Kannada cinema said he is a fan of cricketer Srishanth not only on the field but off the field because he is a good dancer he said. The film 'Jolly Days' title itself indicates that this film is for youths. He wished all the success for the whole team of 'Jolly Days'.
Producer of 'Jolly Days' (a remake of 'Happy Days' Telugu film) thanked his father Mr Maharshi for supporting financially in making this film. Madi Reddy Param garlanded his friend Srishanth and power star Puneeth Rajakumar on this occasion for making to the function.
Director of successful films like Friends, Chellata, Krishna, Devaru Varavanu Kotre M.D.Sridhar lauded the courage of new producer Madi Reddy Param for taking the risk of new star cast for the film. When I reminded on the problems of business Reddygaru said if the film is good people would come and watch he said. Sridhar thanked Anand Audio Mohan because it is that production house that made 'Friends' the super hit film for which he was the director.
The original Telugu film 'Happy Days' music director Mickey J Meyar shot in to fame from the film has scored the tunes for Kannada version. Meyar considered him lucky for the recognition he earned from 'Happy Days'.
Kaviraj the top rated lyricists today in Kannada has written all the six songs for 'Jolly Days. This pack of six songs Kaviraj had recently done for 'Sangama' Kannada film that had the music of Devi Sriprasad.
Anand Audio Mohan, former KFCC President HD Gangaraju, Maharshi, cameraman Krishnakumar and star cast were present on the dais at the audio release.
