A song in the film 'Varnam' has been filmed as just one shot. However, it is not clear yet if this one–shot will have any relevance to the storyline.

The song whose duration is three and a half minutes has been choreographed by Dhina. The dance director trained all the dancers along with the timing element as is usually done for stage-dancing. Then cinematographer Prem Kumar made all the necessary arrangements to can the entire three and a half minutes as one shot.

'Varnam' is directed by Raju and stars new faces Hari and Ashwatha along with Monica and Sampath. The story is about a school going lad who is plagued by caste-sentiment. Monica reportedly plays a school teacher in the film while Sampath plays the baddie.
