Renjith's ‘Nandhanam’ which marked the entry of Prithviraj as an independent star into Mollywood, will be remade in Tamil, shortly.

Prithviraj himself will don the lead in this Tamil version as well. But the role of Balamani that was made immortal by Navya Nair in the original will be presented by this year’s National award winner, Priyamani.

The other thing of interest is that young star Dhanush, who is planning a clear shift in the type of his roles, will appear in the movie in a cameo as an avatar of the God. The movie will get into floors in a short while.
