The makers of the new Mohanlal film 'Kurukshetra’ is facing one of the dilemmas that is never ever witnessed in Mollywood. The movie which was originally planned for this Ramadan had censored its final copy by the last week itself. The needed prints of the movie were also made before Ramzan but then the entire hell break loose with the new row in the exhibitors’ federation, who are against the release of the movies in more than 48 centers.

‘Kurukshetra’ being a heavy budget film made at eight crores, cannot take chances and so the makers waited for days for the fights in the organizations to end. They had planned for a release in 78 centers and have already sent the prints to many B centers, which are waiting with the prints for the green signal to release. Almost all B centers have even pasted all the pre release posters, now changing the release date in them, every day. The B centers are not screening any other movies in these days in the belief that they will be able to start showing the movie immediately.

Meanwhile the other super star movie slated for the season, ‘Mayabazaar’ is having a singular run without competition in around 68 centers across the state. As the movie is made in an ordinary budget, the makers were ready to take a chance even amidst this non cooperation from A centers.

The makers of ‘Mayabazaar’ made it better as they opted for government theatres in seven A centers. According to the new situations, the movie will get a continuous houseful run for at least five days till this week end, since no other films offer it a good fight at the Box Office.
