A habit of amalgamating sentimental ascetics to their profession has been a heritage rooted deep among the producers, directors and actors of the filmdom.

An occurrence that takes place often is, the producer or director visits their favorite temple or pilgrimage to offer prayers to the God along with the first print of their yet to be released movie. It has been a strong belief among the people of the industry to follow this custom before the movie hits the silver screen.

In Tollywood, a few among the socialities make a visit to Tirupathi, others offer their prayers to Yadagiri Narasimha Swamy and the rest turns up at Kanipakam VaraSiddhi Vinayaka temple. To render a clear savvy, producer Dr D Ramanaidu visits Tirupati accompanied by the first copy of the movie before it is launched.

In the same amiable vein, Samudra director of 'Mallepuvvu', after the completion of censor formalities done by 15th made a visit to a temple in Guntur today on 16th September with the first copy of the movie and offered his prayers. The movie starring Murali Krishna and Bhumika has made a clean sweep from the censor with a U certificate without any cuts.
