'Paradesi' reaches Cairo

One of the most talked about films of the last year 'Pardesi' has been selected to the Cairo international film festival. The movie is included in the special Human rights section, in the festival that will be held this November.

‘Pardesi’ which told a poignant story of Naalakathu Moosa, an aged man forced to travel across borders due to citizenship problems, has generated a good talk in the festival circuits last year.

The movie scripted and directed by P T Kunju Mohammed, also earned many awards in the last year's State awards. The state award committee also honored Mohanlal, who played the protagonist of the movie with the award for the Best actor of the year.
