Unnikrishnan back with 'Thiruthu'

B Unnikrishnan's latest movie as the director 'Maadambi' is running quite well in the theatres of Kerala, as it is entering its fiftieth day.

The movie is continuing in 26 centers in its eight week and has made a profit of around three crores to its distributors.

News are in the rounds that Mohanlal impressed with the good run of the movie has already allotted his dates for another, whenever Unnikrishnan comes up with an interesting scripts.

But the scriptwriter turned director seems to have got something else in his mind. He has already started working on a new script based on the famous short story by N S Madhavan titled 'Thiruthu'.

If all goes well as per plans, the screen version of this award winning short story, directed by Unnikrishnan will be on theatres in a matter of a few months. B Unnikrishnan also have ideas to produce this movie, which will be a small budgeted affair.
