Navya Nair is making it big in Tamil and Kannada, but not so well in Malayalam.
Navya seems to be banking on the Suresh Gopi starrer 'Kavyam' and another movie with Bala titled 'SMS' in order to gain firm footing in Malayalam films.
The actress reportedly has two big projects in Kannada and is expected to do well there. But the icing on her cake is with Tamil films. She has just completed 'Rasikkum Seemane' - a movie with Srikanth and she has signed another film with producers Moserbaer for the film, 'Aval Paer Tamilrasasi' directed by Meera Kathiravan.
But her biggest role is yet to come and it would be the sequel to the smash hit 'Autograph'. Titled as 'Autograph 2', the movie would feature director Cheran as the hero and Navya Nair as his heroine. This role might very well give Navya enough impetus to make it really big in Tamil films.
Work for Autograph 2 is expected to commence from September.
Gossip mills had been churning out stories about Cheran and Navya's on screen and off screen chemistry in "Maayakannadi' for quite some time. Whether true or not, the curiosity element behind their affinity will work wonders for the film. More importantly, the combination of the names 'Cheran' and 'Autograph' will be the catch point.
