Veteran actor-director Sreenivasan seems to have automatically moved up to spear head the dissident fraction of MACTA who are now in the plans for a separate film organization.

Sreenivasan, known for his satirical remarks had been literally taking all the headlines, for the last couple of days.

“I have seen two people claiming to be the spokesmen of MACTA, talking about discipline, on the press meet after the MACTA discussions. I don’t remember what film they have made, to be called as filmmakers, “Sreenivasan remarked about ‘Ambili’ and ‘Baiju Kottarakkara’, who were there to brief the decisions after the MACTA meeting on Sunday. “All talented directors have left the MACTA and those who remain serve only their own interests”.

Sreenivasan added that the MACTA leaders are worse than fake swamis and their sources of income should also be probed, and if anyone in MACTA can propose a better word than "fake swamis", I am ready to change my lines.............remarked Sreenivasan about the repeated demand and the resolution from MACTA, to give an public apology for his harsh unparliamentary statements against the organization and its members................

"I will apologies only if I am told about the wrong I did. What I said was my observation about MACTA. I am only interested in films and not in organizations,” reacted Sreenivasan strongly.

'”These events clearly show that the organizations which should concentrate more on welfare measures than trying to carry out vetoes and bans'' observed Sreenivasan, who never had been a regular, in MACTA meetings.

Sreenivasan after these intense verbal exchanges on media has now left for Dubai, and will come back only after five days to rejoin the – pandemonium.
