Mamta Mohandas, the much talked about actress and a successful playback singer is having a busy year in the offering. After making her appearances in some good roles in Tollywood, she has now bagged a meaty role in the movie with chocolate hero, Madhavan in the lead. The movie to be directed by Selva will be a remake of the Sharukh Khan starrer 'Yes Boss'.

After her string of failures in Mollywood, Mamta debuted in Kollywood opposite Vishal in the movie 'Silapathigaram'. Mamtha was quite lucky to make a better mark at Tollywood acting in important roles opposite the likes of Nagarjuna. She still have a couple of films like 'Victory' and ‘Homam' which is queuing up for release in the recent months.

Apart from these movies, the actress is also have two important movies like 'Chinthakayala Ravi' with Venkatesh and 'Kuselan' with Rajnikanth. Her recent release in Kannada was a film with Sudeep titled 'Ghooli' which is making good returns from the box office.

Mamtha's new flick in Malayalam will be 'Musafir' directed by Pramod-Pappan. Rehman and Bala will play the male interest in this movie which was shot at Dubai. Her other important projects includes the new movie directed by Faazil, which is produced by ace director Priyadarshan.

With Mamta clearly drawing out her career plans all around the south, it seems to be good going for an actress who was earlier branded as one, more associated with flop films.
