The new movie starring Suresh Gopi, 'Kavyam' will grace the theatres for this Vishu. The movie directed by the duo of Anish Varma and Santhosh, has completed its shooting, a couple of weeks ago.

Suresh Gopi takes a different role in this movie playing a traditional Brahmamangalam Mana member in the backdrop of the Namboothiri community. Scripted by Aalamkkodu Leela Krishanan, about the clashes between traditional and modern values, the movie has essentially a female oriented plot which tells the story of a man who has left his home years ago to return with his young wife, Umadevi and a child. But the prevailing social set up does not allow him and his family to lead a peaceful life, which forces him to take very drastic steps in life.

‘Kavyam’, being produced by the duo of Saji Kadampazhipuram and Rasheed, is presently in its editing and dubbing stages.
