‘Silanerangalil’, a novel attempt by director Jayaraj, has been received well by both critics and the general public. The innovative script set in different time spaces has been appreciated by all quarters. The good news for the New Light Media, the producers, is that the movie is running steadily all over the state.

‘Silanerangalil’, which is partially a period film, has the right dosage of romance, comedy, thrill, and action. The art work by Muthuraj that recreates the environment of sixties has been particularly received well. Srikanth Deva, known for peppy songs, has surprised everyone by creating soothing melodies with the feel of sixties.

Though the villain turned hero Vincent Asokan and Navya Nair have handled their respective parts with conviction and flair, it is Raghuvaran’s histrionic skills that have impressed the audience very much.

The Tamil audience, which has always been encouraging novel attempts, is backing the movie, which is set to become a hit.
