‘Chocolate’ celebrates hundred

The hundredth day celebration of latest hit ‘Chocolate’ was held last weekend at the Tagore Theater at the capital city. Every stars and technicians associated with the super hit was seen in the illustrious function.

The highlight of the function was a marriage between Biju and Selvi, the two residents of the sreechithra poor home of the capital city, which was organized and supported financially by the producers of the film Santha Murali and P K Muraleedharan Nair.

Prithviraj, the chocolate boy of the film said on the occasion that, among the forty odd films that he had been to, this is the only film which he liked to be remade with the same cast and crew. ''The shooting of the film was itself a celebration. I am grateful to the producers who believed in young stars like us. This is the second time they are creating mega hits with us. And another news of pleasure, is that I am also being signed for their next film.''

Prithviraj added amidst big applause. Shafi, the director of the film, Lalu Alex, Rajan P Dev, P Sreekumar and Sachi-Sethu were also the few who spoke on the occasion.
