After the much talked about film ,'Ore Kadal' , which bagged a lot of awards for its excellent performances, Mammootty and Meera Jasmine are again coming together for another flick, that too a performance oriented movie.

Renowned director Shaji N Karun's new movie, 'Kutty Shranku' will feature both the artists in the lead roles. Expected to start by the end of next month, the film is based on a famous novel in Malayalam.

As the film is based on the change in seasons, environmental and climatic changes, the second schedule of the movie will be shot by the end of July. Shaji is planning to hold the premier of 'Kutty Shranku' in the Venice Film Festival, which will be held by the end of September.
