M Padmakumar has titled his new film with Mammootty as 'Parunthu'. The film in the scripts of T A Rasaaq tells the story of Gillettte Purushothaman, a crude money lender with an iron heart for grabbing money by any means from his dealers.

The project which was in the pipeline for long, has finally announced its shoot dates. Expected to start by the forth of April, Mammootty will join the sets after completing the first schedule of 'Kuttyshranku' with Shaji N Karun.

‘Parunthu' will also feature Jayasuriya and Kalabhavan Mani in important roles. Grapevine is that Nayanatara, now reigning high in the charts of popularity after her super hit 'Billa', may appear in the female lead of this film.

The music department of the movie will be handled by Gireesh Puthencherry -Vidyasagar team. The makers of this movie, Dream Team Productions are planning to get 'Parunthu' into theatres by the fourth of July.
