Actress Mamta Mohandas is a popular singer in Tollywood now. She even won the Filmfare Award for best singer in Telugu films recently.
Mamta has now been roped in to sing a song for Simbhu starrer Kaalai. The actress was in Chennai on Tuesday evening to record the song set to tunes by G V Prakashkumar.
The recording took place at the music director's studio in the presence of Silambarasan and Prakashkumar.
Interestingly Simbhu himself pens the song. Mamta is currently acting in a Telugu film besides Aruvadai opposite Arjun.
