August 24 seems to be the busiest day in the filmi calendar of 2007. The rest of the Onam releases after Alibhai are planning to make a release on the same day.

As per the latest news, Mammootty's Ore Kadal, Kalabhavan Mani's Indrajith, Lohithadas's Naivedhyam, Suresh Gopi's two films Black Cat and Kichamani M B A are scheduled for the very same day.

By the 24th of this month, around 200 release theatres of the state will get engaged with Onam releases.

Apart from these new additions, Mohanlal’s Hello. Suresh Gopi's Nadhiya Kollapetta Rathri and Lal Jose's Arabikatha are also running in select release centres for this Onam.
