Simbhu has firmly denied changing the title of his forthcoming film Kettavan.

According to reports, the honchos of Tamil Film Producers council had approached the actor urging him to change the title of the movie which is underproduction stating that it was derogatory.

However Silambarasan insisted that there is nothing wrong with the title.

Simbu has offered the explanation that Kettavan means one who has been spoilt because of a woman, and so did not censure anyone in particular. So the film will retain its original title.

Similarly producer – director Sakthi Chidambaram has also reportedly refused to change the title of his movie Porukki. According to him, Porukki means one who picks out the ills of society.
