Jayaram is eagerly looking forward to this film to make a commendable difference in his career. The film,’Seetha Kalyaanam’ produced by Suresh Kumar of Revathy Kalamandir, has the traditional ayyankar weeding as the backdrop and tells the story of a young software engineer who insists on having his wedding conducted in true Brahmin style, with all the rituals extending to seven days. The film which was completed three years back has Jyothika in the female lead.

Apart from Jyothika, veteran Tamil actress Manorama also presents a full time character in this film. Others in the cast include Geethu Mohandas, Jagdish, Siddique, Janardhanan, Baiju, Bheeman Raghu, Nandu, Poojappura Ravi, Sukumari, Kalpana, Bindu Panicker, and Devi Ajith The film, is scripted and directed by T K Rajeev Kumar.

The songs of the film were released last year in a big ceremony by A R Rahman, the colleague of singer Sreenivas, who has done the music for the film. Rajeev Ravi wields the camera for the film. The movie will get released in a week’s time.
