The shooting of the Mammootty's proposed Onam release Nasrani is getting delayed due to rains and frequent 'Hartals' called by political parties in the state.

The film which was planned to call shoot pack up by August 18, will find it hard to keep the dates. Moreover, even if the film's shooting continues as per charts, the technical crew will have a mammoth task to get it to final cut, dubbed, rerecorded, censored and printed in another 8 days.

News is that theatres which had charted Nasrani as their Onam release have been informed by the distributor Marakkar films that it may get postponed to Ramzan, and may find a new release date on October 12.

But Mammootty as usual have played safe to avoid gloomy faces of his fans, as his Ore Kadal is getting ready with final correction, to make a release within a couple of weeks.

The posters of the film are already placed in major towns. Mammookka's fans, who were eagerly looking for Nasrani, an out an out commercial will now have to satisfy with a class entertainer in Ore Kadal which features Ramyakrishnan, Naren, Meera Jasmine with the superstar.
