Following the success of ‘Vinodhayaathra’ and ‘Khakhi’, Mukesh seems to be in best of his filmy career, with a number of characters in new films flocking around him. Apart from a couple with Sreenivasan, he will also handle a prominent role in Sarjulan's new movie S M S. The film will have him play the role of a C B I officer named Robert Mathew

Mukesh has earlier appeared as a C B I officer in films like 'Nerariyaan C B I'. Navya Nair and Bala are in the lead roles of this film which is produced by Kichaan movies. The other highlight of the film is the five songs set to music by Ilayaraja.
