Director Suresh is busy shooting Sarath Kumar's Nam Nadu. The movie is a remake of Malayalam blockbuster Lion which featured Dileep as the hero.

Suresh says, “Nam Nadu is a movie on politics sans any politics. Sarath plays an advocate who heads a youth organization. Nasser plays his father in the movie”.

Suresh shares a good rapport with Sarath Kumar for the two had earlier teamed up for movies including Arasu and Gambheram.

“When I directed Vijayakanth for Sabari, everyone expected that the film will have overdose of political dialogues. However we surprised everyone by coming up with a clean entertainer. Nam Nadu will be no different”.

Sarath Kumar plays Muthazhagu, who cares for the society. His role has come really very good. “I feel confident that Nam Nadu would be a movie to relish in my career”, he adds.
