Ajith starrer Billa is fast shaping up at Kuala Lumpur. The remake of yesteryear blockbuster Rajinikanth starrer titled the same, the new version is directed by Vishnuvardhan.

Buzz is that the crew which landed on Kuala Lumpur early this month had shot a major portion of the talkie portion and a song at the Malaysian capital.

An important stunt sequence was also shot in the busy streets of Malaysia. In the recent past, no Tamil movie was shot so extensively in Kuala Lumpur.

Ajith plays a dual role in the movie, which also stars Prabhu, Raghuman, Nayantara and Namitha in lead roles.

Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

With a major portion of the movie completed in Malaysia before this month-end, the cast and crew are expected to touch down Chennai later this month to shoot few other sequences in Chennai.
