At a time when actors decline to be part of two-hero subjects, Arjun is a rare exception. He is playing the second fiddle to Nana Patekar in Bharathiraja's Bommalattam.

The 'action king' has been assigned to do a second hero in Mammootty's bilingual Aruvadai (being made simultaneously in Malayalam and Tamil) along side Mammootty.

Aruvadai is directed by Manirathnam's associate Karthik. Mammootty plays a district collector and Arjun dons the role of a CBI officer. Sneha is cast opposite Mammootty. The shooting will commence place soon.

Meanwhile Arjun's Marudachalam, produced by Oscar Ravichandran and directed by Suraj, is fast progressing. Also Arjun's home production Thavam starring Arun Kumar is nearing completion.
