After a success in Keerthi Chakra, director Major Ravi has commenced shooting for Mission 90 days, written and directed by him, with Mammootty in the lead role.

Mission 90 Days tells the story of Major Sivaram, a daring NSG Commando Officer in charge of the investigation of the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case.

Major Sivaram, played by Mammootty, is on a mission to solve the case for which he has a deadline of just 90 days. Major Ravi picturises the tension and difficulties faced by the officer during these 90 days.

The film also has Lalu Aex, Cochin Haneefa, Kalabhavan Mani, Innocent, Sai Kumar, Baburaj, Vijaya Kumar, Gopika, Sanjana and many others.

Model turned actress Tulip Joshi plays Mammootty's wife in the film. Thiru is in charge of cinematography and the film will be edited by Jaishankar.
