Bharath not to do Johnny remake

Rumors were abuzz that Bharath would play the lead role in the remake of yesteryear Rajini classic Johnny later this year and director Mahendran's son John would be directing the film.

However, when contacted, Bharath has denied the reports as mere rumors.

“I am currently busy acting in Nepali (directed by V Z Durai). My Khilladi is nearing completion. AlsoI have been committed to at in director-producer Sakthi Chidambaram's next venture Palani. It would be directed by Perarasu and would have musical score by Srikanth Deva. Quite appropriate to the title, the movie unfolds in Palani and would be a commercial entertainer”.
