“Madurai Veeran has helped me establish myself as an action-hero in Tamil cinema”, says Jithan fame Ramesh.

The young hero (son of producer R B Choudhary), is optimistic that the remake of Telugu blockbuster Nuvve Nenu would draw more audience to theatre and provide a fresh start to his career.

“The movie packed with action sequences has been welcomed well by the masses,” he says.

Ramesh is busy shooting for his next Puli Varudhu and Potti.

Director Vincent Selvah is equally thrilled at Madurai Veeran's showing at the box office.

“We made enough correction to the script to suit the Tamil audience. It clicked well”, he said and added,” Equal credit should be given to Saloni, who played the female lead with ease”.

Vincent Selvah will direct Sundar C for his next Perumal soon.
