Saira - the movie directed by Dr.Bijukumar will be shown in Cannes festival of this year.
With this festival entry Saira will become a rare film that is shown in 12 famous international festivals. The film will be inaugural film of the Indian cinema section in the festival.
Murali Nair, Adoor Gopalakrishnan and Shaji N Karun are other only directors from Kerala whose films had been shown in the prestigious Cannes festival before.
