Sooryan - the new Jayaram starrer tells the story of the intense relation between a father and son, both famous classical singers. The film has six songs which belong to the semi classical and classical genres. The songs are set to music by Isaigjani Ilayaraja in the lyrics of Gireesh Puthencherry.

Ilayaraja, who was overwhelmed to have such songs for his film, holds something very special for the audience in this track. In the film, Yesudas and Vijay Yesudas are giving their voices to the corresponding father and son on screen.

Moreover, Yesudas also appears in this movie in a brief role. Madhu Balakrishnan and Manjari also lend their voices to some of the songs which are said to be one of the finest from the Raja of music.

Lovers of die hard classical music --just wait for a few days to enjoy the tracks.
