It's turning out to be a happy Vishu for Malayalam filmdom. So far two of the films starring big stars released. Fortunately both are doing good business at the box office.

Dileep's Vinodhayathara and Mohanlal's Chotta Mumbai released last weekend.

While the former is a family drama the latter is a commercial entertainer.

Vinodhayathara released in 45 centres and reports indicate that there is a positive review for the film and is drawing good crowds.

Chotta Mumbai has witnessed bumper opening all over Kerala. Released in 55 centres, the movie has been raking in the moolah.

However the subsequent of films starring Mammootty and Suresh Gopi will decide the fate of these films in Malluwood.
