The producers and directors in Malluwood are heaving a sigh of relief at the release of Sivaji.

The big-budgeted movie was slated to release on Vishu. The coming together of biggies like Rajinikanth, Shankar, AVM and A R Rahman did generate a lot of curiosity.

With the ever-increasing popularity of Tamil films in Kerala, distributors were worried about Malayalam films in this season due to Sivaji's release.

The likes of Mohanlal, Mammootty, Dileep and Suresh Gopi can release their movies on Vishu day without worry now.

Sivaji will hit the screens on May.
