Post Thambi, Madhavan's career is back on track. Thambi's success was followed by a good outing in Irandu and Madhavan has now signed nearly half-a-dozen films, including a couple in Hindi.

His Evano Oruvan, a remake of Marathi hit Dombivili Fast, is nearing completion, and his Oru Naal Podhuma directed by Prathap Pothen would commence soon.

Prathap Pothen has planned to shoot the entire movie in Canada.

Sources say that Madhavan plays a Sri Lankan Tamil in the movie.

It may be recalled that Rameshwaram features Jeeva in the role of a Sri Lankan refugee, while one of the films featuring Sundar C as hero also dwells on the ethnic issue in Lanka.

Madhavan has trimmed his body and has lost several kilograms to suit the role in Oru Naal Podhuma.
