The shooting of 'Shankar Dada Zindabad', the remake of Bollywood hit 'Lage Raho Munnabhai…' which has come as a sequel to 'Munnabhai MBBS' was formally launched at Annapurna Studios under the direction of poetic director Prabhudeva.

The film is again made by Ravishankar Prasad and Gemini Kiran, who had brought in 'Shankar Dada MBBS' earlier on the banner of Gemini Film Circuits.

The regular shooting of the film was started on February 15 at City Library. Now the unit shifted to 'Art Gallery' and continued its shooting.

It is learnt that Dilip Prabhawalkar, who played the role of Gandhi Mahatma, is again playing the same role in Telugu.
