PadmapriyaÂs rise in Malayalam is nothing less than spectacular. The essentially Tamil girl from Bangalore has made Kerala hers own. She has some of the most interesting roles in the industry now.
One of them is the film under Adoor Gopalakrishnan. The film will feature Mohanlal as the hero. There is also Nandita Das in the cast.
Padmapriya is thrilled with the prospect of acting alongside an established performer like Nandita. "It will also be a great challenge to prove my talent," she says.
A movie with Adoor will do a great deal to PaddyÂs CV.
