Director Lenin Rajendran commenced his Rathrimazha long back starring Prithviraj and Meera Jasmine. But suddenly, Prithviraj was removed and was replaced by Vineeth.

The film is about a hero who is a trained Bharathanatyam dancer. Prithviraj is an excellent dancer but not trained in classical dance. Hence it was rumoured that Vineeth was cast instead of Prithvi.

In spite of several delays, Lenin Rajendran is confident of commencing the shooting and completing the movie in one go.

Says the director, ''We had shot with Prithviraj for five days. But we weren't able to get simultaneous dates of Meera Jasmine and Prithviraj. And Vineeth was a better choice for such a role. That was why we had to let go of him.''

"A mix of music, dance, romance and emotions. Rathrimazha would commence soon," Lenin Rajendran says and adds, "The movie would be different from the run-of-the mill stuff and regale cine-lovers."
