The ace director of Malluwood, Shaji Kailas is planning to produce a film in Malayalam. Any guess who will be the hero of the film? It's none other than Suresh Gopi, the favorite actor of the director.

The film directed by Shaji himself is in the preproduction stages. The shooting dates of this flick are not yet confirmed as Shaji is presently committed to a few other films with Mammootty and Lal in the lead.

Shaji Kailas and Suresh Gopi share a special rapport as they were together in their journey towards stardom. Suresh Gopi produced his first independent hit with Thalasthaanam which was directed by Shaji Kailas.

Thereafter he shot to the status of super star with Ekalavyan, another film by the same director. The duo have created a dozen of hits in the last decade which has helped Suresh Gopi in his career.
