Ever since Kamal Haasan and his team left for the US to shoot for Dasavatharam, news is hard to come by about the film’s progress.

But now it is learnt that the film is progressing fast. First, they shot some scenes in Orlando.

The film’s unit is then moving to the gambling capital of the world, Las Vegas.

Kamal, ever the punctilious performer, had specifically wanted a particular type of casino.

So the producer has taken up an entire casino in Las Vegas to shoot some vital scenes.

The team is so committed about realism that the expenses for the casino scenes, expected to appear in screen just for a few minutes, run into a few crores of rupees.

Mallika Sherawat is also expected to join the team there in Vegas. She plays an ex-CIA agent in the film.

Meanwhile, back in India, Mallika has denied that she demanded a huge amount to act in the film. She says that she is a great fan of Kamal and that it is a privilege to act with him.

Kamal plays ten different roles in the film and the make-up by Michael Westmore from Los Angeles is the talk of the industry.
