Most of the films that Dileep starred in recent times made news about the actor's over involvement in the scripting departments. Kamal’s Pachakuthiraa even carried a credit of story idea in the titles for Dileep.

Now Dileep is in the sets of Inspector Garud - the film directed by his pal and long time associate Johny Antony. Here he can speak his heart out for suggestions with no more complaints from the scriptwriters.

After completing Chakkaramuthu, Dileep spend days with the scriptwriters, Uday Krishna - Sibi K Thomas discussing about the story and its development. The scriptwriters admit that Dileep's experience as an associate director in the past is helping him very much to make the needful suggestions.

"His remarks and suggestions are very helpful in making better scripts" says the scriptwriters.

Uday and Sibi has been the favorite scriptwriters of Dileep as they had made a number of hits together like C.I.D.Moosa, Kochi Rajavu and Lion in the past.
