Post Aniyan, Vikram has become popular in Kerala. The movie witnessed a huge collection in Kerala and set a new record. Having acted in few films in Malayalam before, Anniyan took him closer to the film-buffs here. Vikram's Bheema, a bi-lingual is getting ready for release this January.

There is a huge demand among the distributors in Kerala to buy the distribution rights in Kerala. The Malayalam distributors are convinced that the Vikram-Trisha starrer, directed by Lingusamy, will be a blockbuster in terms of collections.
