It was before seven years that Suresh Gopi last attempted to play a double role in Randam Bhavam. Now Suresh Gopi is all set to appear in a double role in the film directed by the debutant director Jithu Joseph.

The film titled Detective will present the star in a role of a private detective named Shyamaprased known in the circuit as the Kerala Sherlock Holmes.

The second character of the star in the movie is kept as suspense. The other prominent stars in the film include Saikumar, Madhu Warrier, Murali, Jagathy and Kalashala Babu.

Sindhu Menon will appear in the female lead. The film which is all set to start by the December first week will be the midsummer release of 2007.
