Blessy, who is adamant in presenting new heroines into Malayalam through his films, has fixed his new find for his next venture. In his new flick, Palunku starring Mammootty, Lekshmi Lahiri will appear in the female lead.

This film produced by Dream team communications will start its shooting this week in and around Thodupuzha, Adimali Kattappana and Idukki. The recording of the songs for the film written by Kaithapram and set to music by Mohan Sithara has been completed last week in Lal Media studios.

Blessy has been lucky enough to present a lot of heroines into Malayalam who made big in many languages later. As an associate director he was the one who found Meera Jasmine, Manya and the like through Lohithadas's films.

And when he turned independent director he brought the Malayalam actresses like Padmapriya and Meera who are the present day super heroines of Malluwood.
